Pat has worked for the Mast Law Firm since 1975. She works primarily in the business law section, which includes claims for collection of money owed, breach of contract, unfair trade practices, negligence, nuisance and damages, landlord-tenant matters, matters involving title to real estate. Pat facilitates the organization of corporations and limited liability companies by preparing Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Organization, bylaws or operating agreements, and notices and minutes of meetings. She is instrumental in operating our estate division by preparing documents for administration of estates, preparing Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.

Pat assists with special proceedings, which are petitions to the court for guardianship of a person who cannot handle his or her own affairs and petitions to the Court to sell real property owned by two or more people as tenants in common. She assists court-appointed clients involved in litigation with the Department of Social Services. Pat also works in general civil litigation in the District and Superior Courts of Johnston and surrounding counties, in federal courts, and in appeal of civil litigation to the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court. Pat and her husband have two sons and live in the Clayton area.
